Planned by Village founder, Augustus Sacket, Market Square Park has been the heart of the community for over 200 years. The Park extends from the 1801 Augustus Sackets House, now the Visitor Center, down to the Village dock. With a large bandstand, two boat launches, restrooms, and picnic tables, Market Square Park offers a variety of public amenities. Often a venue for public events, its also a great place to picnic, fish, and view the Harbor during all seasons
