Deputy Village Clerk


Village of Sackets Harbor has an opening for a full-time Deputy Village Clerk.

The Deputy Clerk assists with daily office duties and maintenance of all Village records and reports.The appropriate candidate must be detailed oriented, have excellent computer skills, be fluent in Word and Excel, beexperienced in accounting and competent with use of database and email programs and use of office equipment. The Deputy Clerk serves as Secretary to the Village Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals.

The Clerk must have superior written and verbal communication skills – excellent attitude and work ethic and ability to navigate complex customer service issues. Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
