Construction
on the Village Sewer Plant and the renovation of the sewer and water lines
on W. Washington Street and Monroe Street is in full swing. If you are
interested in the schedule of activity for your street you can contact the
village office for more details.
Local
Development Corporation is moving forward with authorization to clean up
the property at the south terminal of old Augsbury Oil Refinery.The north terminal is now clean with
acceptance from the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation.
Village
finances are again in good shape and we will end the year (May 31) under
budget.
The
lack of a State of New York
budget has us still wondering about whether or not our Historic
Battlefield will remain open.The
Village Board continues to ask State Parks on how we can help.
The
Village Board has scheduled an end of year meeting for Thursday, May 27 ay
6:30 PM at the MunicipalBuilding.
